Islington’s Got Talent is a voluntary based organisation run by Tenants & Residents of Islington. The organisers of this event have always been passionate about doing more for our children. IGT came about when they decided to run a small talent contest on the Tufnell Park Estate. The talent they saw showed them that they needed to provide far more opportunities for the youngsters to showcase their talents. "Not all our youths are into crime, the majority are great kids that just need direction and activities to keep them off the street." By putting on this show they truly believe that all can excel to do great things, last years show proved just that.

We all know the talent that Islington has provided over the years, but this show really does get to the heart of things. The organisers could not have believed within a short space of time how this competition has grown into such an important calendar event. Just goes to show what can be achieved with so little.
