The 2011 IGT finalists are:

Frankie: Frankie has always loved to sing. She currently attends a young actors theatre where she is able to perform and showcase her many talents, not just singing. Her voice struck a chord with all the judges at the auditions and has proven to be a real star. "I Have Performed In All My School Musicals. My favourite so far is when I played the role of Eponine from Les Misérables. My dream is to become a singer and to inspire the younger generation to chase their dreams, just like me."

"As for the final I’ve mixed my very own music soundtrack and I can’t wait to showcase my skills to Islington and other audiences."

Tia: This year Tia performed at a competition called Schools Rock for Islington representing her school.  "I have performed in school as there was a tribute to Sir Ben Kinsella who also attended Holloway school."
"In my primary school I wrote a play and it was presented in the Quicksilver Theatre performed by professional actors." "I am very excited about being in the final and can't wait to perform."

My ambition is to teach in the future to share my musical experiences with others. I have always been passionate about music and feel excited to have been given this opportunity to show case what I have. I couldn’t really put a particular style on my music, I would say I’m more eclectic. I just wanna have a good time on that stage, and enjoy myself ! Thank you all…….."

Coya:

"My dream is to become a professional singer in the UK and to be able to change people life’s through music. In the future I would love to be signed to a label and produce  inspiring music and be a successful artist."

UCS
: Up Coming Stars are the youngest act within the competition. One of the reasons they wanted to enter was to gain more experience in performing in front of larger audiences. The children are all very excited about performing on the night and have been practicing as much as they can.

Alanis:
Alanis Kusi-Ghent is 14 years old. He first discovered his talent at the age of 8 singing in a competition in his primary school, where he won 1st prize. He also entered a talent competition at his secondary school, where he also won 1st prize. He later went on to perform at his local church. Alanis's biggest performance was at the Andover Estate, where he entered a competition run by a project called Soul in the City. Alanis now performs in his school choir.

Destiny
: Destiny is a group of eight children over the last seven months we've been practicing street dance, vocal training and drama. One of the reasons we have entered Islington's Got Talent is to gain experience and confidence for further competitions.

HHJ

She uploaded her first video of "Aint No Mountain High Enough" at age 9 on youtube. Since then she hasn't stopped. Here is a little clip of Paris singing Adele "Someone Like You" http://youtu.be/7pp1E3ch584

"I have many music influences such as people like Jayz and the whole of young money lol." "If I had to compare myself to someone I'd say no-one lol, beacause I like to think of myself as a unique artist that's always trying and experimenting with different styles and genres of music." I'm into all kinds of music, from rock to R&B from jazz to hip hop.'" "In the future I'd plan to see myself working in mcds looool.! nah joking, but on a serious note, I'd plan to see myself as a successful artist that can break the boundaries between all different kinds of music to create GOOD MUSIC!" "I've been working with a band for about a year now, and have done several shows and open mic nights with them too." "I love working with them, because they motive me so much and on stage we're a family."
